Kids Wish Network - Estate Planning

What is your Legacy?

What is a Legacy Gift?

A Legacy Gift is a charitable donation of any amount, designated through your will or living trust. The gift does not cost you anything right now, but will be a future gift to Kids Wish Network and live on in your legacy. Designation to Kids Wish Network’s Guardian Angel Fund will ensure that your entire Legacy Gift will support the mission of Kids Wish Network.

What do I need to say in my will?

Below is sample language that you can use in your will to make a Legacy Gift to Kids Wish Network:

I give, and bequeath [the sum of _________ (USD or other currency) OR percent ______of the rest and residue of my estate] to Kids Wish Network (tax identification number 31-1979097), a charitable corporation organized under the laws of the State of Florida, United States, currently located at 4060 Louis Avenue, Holiday, Florida, United States, to be used for its general charitable purposes at its discretion.

If We Had Only Known

Kids Wish Network recently received a bequest of more than $40,000 from an estate of a man we never had the opportunity to thank. His Legacy Gift revealed a gracious and generous person. We appreciate his gift immensely and it will certainly help us accomplish our mission of bringing joy and hope to sick children. But we were unable to express to him our gratitude for his kindness. We couldn’t let him know how very much his gift would mean. If we had only known, we could have said, "Thank you."
For that reason we encourage our Guardian Angel friends to let us know when they include Kids Wish Network in their estate plans so that we can express our appreciation and recognize them as members of Kids Wish Network’s Legacy Guardian Angel Legacy Society.
